Con: Poked and prodded
Animal dissection is expensive and unethical in many cases. I researched facts about the topic, pulled information from different credible sources, and also brought my own opinion into the piece. I found this was an important discussion also because it can create an uncomfortable environment for students in the classroom and drive them away from different careers.

Con: Second Amendment
Though I don't fully believe that our rights to own guns should be fully relinquished, I do stand by my opinion about more regulations being administered. When talking about gun violence in America, it's true that it's one of our most prominent issues. A hard truth people have to face is that while mental health plays a big role, it's the easy access to firearms that makes mass shootings possible.

Pro: Allowing profanity in schools
I believe there is a distinct difference between swearing at someone and using profanity. Allowing kids to these scandalous words and face the repercussions will teach them how to better conduct themselves later on. Plus, no one has absolute control over 1,000 students' words. I think they're a learning experience as well as a way to express feelings and evolve ones language.
